
So the picture you see is not surrealist art from MoMA.
It is my first attempt at painting. See, I told you I sucked.
I'm going to attempt to tell you what everything is. The muted orange at the top is supposed to be the sky. Below that is the trees. I used too much paint there too, so there was no way to distinguish between the background and foreground trees. The white is supposed to be snow. Only it doesn't quite look like that. The purple below that is "trees" that I didn't cover with "snow" because it wouldn't make a difference -- it would look like a blob either way. The blue at the bottom is supposed to be water, and the light purple is supposed to be the reflections of the trees. I did something right, and the water and the reflections were it.
So that's it, my very first try at painting. It's...not good. There really isn't any way around it. It just sucks. But I'm going to try it again. Not the exact same painting, something that doesn't involve snow or that color sky. Perhaps just a blue sky and some clouds...and a mountain...
