I've been thinking about those little things in my life that I can't live without. Here's one: Flavia. Sounds dirty, but isn't. Flavia is a personal drink station that does coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chai, and other wonderful things. I'm addicted to their tea. You pour water into the body of the thing, slide in a tea/coffee/whatever packet, put your cup underneath, press the button, and voila! 30 seconds and you have something truly awesome. See, I love tea. But the process is a pain in the ass. Find your kettle. Pour the water. Heat it up, which on my stove takes a fucking hour. Find a tea bag. Anchor the tea bag. Teabag your neighbor (just kidding). Pour the water, steep the tea, flavor, then drink. And it's an even bigger hassle if you enjoy looseleaf tea. So I keep it simple. Flavia! Flavia will save us all! Give in to the Flavia!
I think it comes down to me being lazy and never liking to clean up. Because Flavia is easy, and requires no clean up. So obviously, I'm sold.
Tomorrow, something else I can't live without. What can't you live without?
